Gifted with the Spirit Sr High Confirmation Program

The Candidate Student Pack contains the Senior High Candidate Lessons of Gifted with the Spirit and the Confirmed in the Joy of the Spirit Confirmation Journal.

With the Gifted with the Spirit program, the eight lessons of each Candidate Edition provide the information and inspiration that young people need as they move toward making and living out personal faith commitments and focus on prayer, sacraments, and service as the framework for a Catholic lifestyle. In the Senior Edition, older teens will explore prayer, sacraments, and service as the framework for a Catholic lifestyle and for strengthening their relationships with Jesus. Photos and text are both well suited to the young teen audience. Activities are designed to invite teens to respond to what they are learning in writing, discussion, and action.

The Confirmed in the Joy of the Spirit Confirmation Journal introduces 19 saints and holy people whose stories will capture the imagination of confirmation candidates. People like Henri Nouwen, Sr. Thea Bowman, St. Thomas More, St. Teresa of Calcutta, Cesar Chavez, Pope Francis, Mary, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, and many more. With questions to promote reflection and journaling, each story also invites candidates to discover ways they can act on the gifts of the Holy Spirit they will receive at confirmation.
